The Cincinnati Enquirer approached us about doing a shirt for their 175-year anniversary. And we were like, "for sure, but we've got one better."
The Enquirer wanted a throwback tee to commemorate a huge anniversary. And we wanted to build some buzz for the new shop. So having a presence at Cincy's Opening Day Parade was the perfect setting to reach both audiences. From repro papers distributed like newsies along the parade, to a Sweet Lou base-tossing contest, we created a flood of nostalgia, sold out of the tees and attracted a ton of new customers.
